Azcapotzalco dresses in green 
with their parks


Our delegation there are many green areas
Here are a list of several parks that are:


  • Parque de la china
The park has a kiosk in the middle, large spaces, gravel and dirt roads for running or walking, has a children's play area, has an exercise area with appliances. In the park there is a statue of José José, because he lived his childhood in this colony. Due to the proximity to the large shopping area Claveria, is visited both by day and night, often mounted exhibitions and sales of state of the republic, too often become Boy Scouts meetings, there is usually Sunday craft workshops for children and adults.


  • Jardin Hidalgo

  • Alameda Norte

  • Azcatl Paqui
Paqui Azcatl Park has five green acres, swings, palapas with grills, a multimodal game for people with disabilities, along with a great lonaria for artistic performances.



  • Los Ahuehuetes

The park is located in the Ahuehuetes the village of San Juan Tlilhuaca, sometime space where there were three ancient cypresses, symbol of the Lordship of Azcapotzalco, currently there is only one copy of these trees.





  • Revolucion 
Revolution Park, located in the Nueva Santa Maria, is a place to practice hiking, traditional benches available for reading in the shade of the trees and in the neighborhood cafes, and restaurants nevarias.




  • Tezozomoc

This park is an example of urban recycling and sustainable development to be used in its construction earth excavated for underground works and treated water used for landscape irrigation and maintenance of water bodies. Additionally, the park has attracted over the past decade some species of migratory birds that were becoming less frequent in the metropolitan area.

Tezozomoc Park features a lake, an outdoor theater, children's playgrounds, a jogging track, plazas and trails that are open to the public for free.




  • Parque Bicentenario
With over 50 hectares of land and settled in the land of the former refinery March 18, Bicentennial Park of Mexico City, is one of the most important efforts of cleaning contaminated sites in the world and also one of the major public parks built in North America in the last decade.
